Matt qualified as an Accountant in 1999 and joined Vodafone in 2000. At Vodafone he managed several teams overseeing finances for all support functions including the building of their Global HQ in Newbury. Matt left finance to head up the Independent Service Provider Channel in the UK business delivering a transformation of the channel, driving simplicity and introducing a Self-certification model as a first in the UK Telecoms industry. The channel managed 12 partners delivering £100m revenue in the UK B2B market.
After the successful completion of the transformation Matt was head hunted by O2 to review and turnaround their wholesale channel in the UK business. Matt delivered double digit revenue and margin growth every year for 5 years when he decided to leave O2 and join Abzorb.
Abzorb were the first wholesale distribution partner in the UK, having launched their service 15 years ago. Matt is now looking at driving the business forwards, simplifying operations through automation and cementing the business as one of the best Service Providers in the UK.
Outside of work Matt’s wife Carole-Anne and three Children Max, Thom and Maggy keep him busy, when he isn’t on the Golf Course!
